Happy 6 month B-day Arya!!

Well when I loaded these pictures they didn't exactly load in the order I wanted. But you can probably guess which one is her 6 month picture. I wanted to post one of her just brand new and one on her 6 month mark to show just how big she has grown. We can't believe 6 months has gone by already. Before we know it we'll be posting pictures of her 1st birthday. :(
She went for her check up at the doctor and weighed in at a whopping 16lbs 27 inches long. She is very healthy and right on track for everything. She is eating rice cereal well and we have tried a couple different veggies so far. She prefers sitting now and is able to manuever herself anywhere. We will be in trouble once she goes to hands and knees crawling.
We are so proud of our little baby doll and are so thrilled she is in our lives.

I didn't do it...

Yesterday I had gone to my dog class that I am doing for a few friends and this is what I returned home too. Buddy said she had played on the floor the whole time. The basket you see in the picture started out underneath the coffee table until she pulled it down onto the floor. Then she proceeded to go through the basket and pick out all the toys that interested her at the time. The picture on the left it looks as if she's saying "I didn't do it, who made this mess..." LOL
It was very cute watching her decide which toy she wanted.

Tuesday

Today Arya and I went to the NEX for our weekly food shopping. Afterwards we met Daddy for lunch at the Windjammer. Then we came home and shortly after Zander was home from school. Arya laid down in her crib for a nap. We have been working on her taking naps in her crib during the day instead of sleeping on me. The past couple days has been challenging but I think she is getting the idea. She cries for awhile when I first lay her down but then eventually goes to sleep and stays asleep for about an hour or so. I am very proud of her plus it makes it easier on me to be able to get things done around the house. I tried to take her picture today to show off her cute little outfit but it didn't show up very well in the picture. She still looks cute sitting there like a big girl though.

I am shopping online right now for a bathing suit and sun hat for her for this summer when the water warms up at the pool. I can't wait to see her in those, it will be adorable!

Oh and her passport came in yesterday so we are free to leave the island!! Not that we are anytime soon but it's nice to know that we can if we want. LOL

Zander, The Super Star

Yesterday I spoke with Zander's teacher and she let me know that Zander was going to be receiving a super star award. She said that he always cleans up after himself and helps other clean up without being asked. I didn't want to spoil the surprise so when Zander came home from school I asked him how his day was and if anything exciting happened. He, of course, was so excited and told me all about his super star award for cleaning up. He was very proud of himself as were we. He had been bugging us for days to get ice cream from the ice cream truck that goes around the neighborhood, so we watched for the ice cream truck and let him pick a treat from the truck. He was very happy. Now if we could get him to be a super star at home...LOL

In this picture Zander did have one his little award ribbon but he took it off because Arya kept trying to grab it. He enjoys having his picture taken with his sister.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Snedeker trio!!

Here is miss big girl Arya. She is doing very well with sitting by herself. She needs us to be right there though because at any minute she will decide she is done and tip right over or get excited about something and flip herself backwards. As you can see in the one picture she is very mobile. She scoots herself all over and usually backwards.

It's very cute watching her manuver herself everywhere.

These picture's were from Saturday March 14th. We were in the car waiting for Ashe's basketball game to start and I found Arya's little sunglasses that we bought for her before she was born. They fit her perfectly. As you can see she is our little diva. Then we went in to watch a very exciting last basketball game. The score was close the whole game and then in the 4th quarter the other team had the lead by 2 and in the last few seconds one of the girls on our team scored a three pointer to win the game. It was very exciting. So the season ended with our both teams tieing at 4-4. The kids showed a huge improvement in their playing skills. It was a great season. We are now getting excited for baseball season to start up next month.

Saturday Ashe had another basketball game. Unfortunatley they lost but the kids still did great and had fun. Ashe is doing much better. This is his first year playing. I'm really happy that he decided to give it a shot, I think he is too because he is having a good time. They only have one game left. Oh, and as you can see Arya never misses a game. Amazingly she sits there the whole game and just takes it all in, even with the buzzer going off right above our heads and all the cheering and hollering going on. Us parents get really into the game. LOL

Zander's Recycling Field Trip

So as you can clearly see Zander is not camera shy. I was trying to take lots of pictures because I finally remembered my camera for one of his field trips. He obviously knew this so he made sure to keep an eye on me and smile everytime the camera went up. Cute, huh?!

There isn't much to choose from when it comes to going on field trips for the kids here but they make do with what we have. The kids always have fun going anywhere. Today was to the recycling center. The kids got to see how cans and bottles get smashed into a big block. The tour guide explained lots of other great stuff to the kids but I think the smashing of the cans was by far the highlight of the tour.
As you can see in the first picture Arya went on the outing too. It's just one of many field trips she's been on with the class. The kids adore her. She'll have been on more field trips than most before she even starts school.

Monkeing Around

This day we were playing around on the floor with Arya and I decided to make a monkey sound and bounce her monkey in front of her. She found this hilarious and of course we found her laughing hilarious. Enjoy!! There is nothing better than the laughter of a baby, especially when it's my baby girl. LOL

Playtime!!

So, today we had some friends over. Arya and Ashlynn are the same exact age and have been friends for awhile now. They are becoming more mobile so we decided to let them scoot around on the floor together. It was adorable, they were grinning at each other and holding hands. Too Cute!!!
